Follow Me in the Long Grass Using Facebook
Long Grass is now on Facebook!
Launched in 2004, Facebook was created to connect Harvard students to one another. Facebook was so popular, it soon spread to Yale and the rest of the Ivy League. The popularity of Facebook has spread so much that companies like Apple Inc and Microsoft have Facebook pages. Facebook has become an invaluable way for you to stay connected to your favorite companies and for them to stay connected to you.
New statistics indicate that the largest age group on Facebook is from 35-54. While the fastest growing age group is 55+ at the rate of 513.7% in 6 months. As you can plainly see, more and more people are using Facebook to stay connected and up to date with each other and with companies.
On the Long Grass Facebook page, we will be able to notify our "fans" of upcoming safari shows, post pictures of new products, be able to receive feedback from our fans and much more. We are very excited about this new avenue to be able to connect with you.
If you are already a member of Facebook, we would like to take this opportunity to ask for you to join us as a fan! However, if you are not a member and would like to join us as a fan, sign-up on www.facebook.com is quick and easy, and best of all free! You will find our Facebook symbol
in the footer of our web pages in the Follow Me section. click on the symbol
and it will take you to the Facebook application.
After you sign up, you are able to make your Facebook as public or as private as you would like. For example, you can choose to show nothing more than your profile picture (and you're not even required to have one of those).
We would love to hear from you and have you as a fan!
Happy Safari!
