The popular and lightweight LTM6 now has a brother, the LTM6-IS! All the features that you have grown to love (the nylamtium fabric, the crown venting, the 50+ UPF rating) are still a staple of this hat, however the LTM6-IS has a few new added features!
A Tuck-Away Neck Protector
Most tuck-away neck protectors hide within the band of the hat, oftentimes making the hat uncomfortably tight on your head. On the LTM6-IS, the tuck-away neck protector hides inside the BRIM of the hat. This thin pocket runs the entire span of the back half of the hat, a genius design that ensures the hat will sit comfortably on your head all day whether you choose to use the neck protector or not. There are small Velcro patches on the bottom of each side of the neck protector to allow you to wrap the neck protector around and secure it in front of your neck for full coverage protection.
Insect Shield
The LTM6-IS is treated with Buzz Off Insect Shield Permethrin Insect Repellent. This treatment repels mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges (no-see-ums). Permethrin is a man made version of a natural insect repellent found in certain types of chrysanthemum plants. It provides invisible, odorless protection simply by wearing the hat. The innovative process tightly binds the repellent to the fabric fibers so the repellent should last through 70 home launderings.
Sun protection, bug protection, lightweight, vented crown, it floats, it ties on, it repels rain, it won’t shrink….the only thing this hat can’t do, is check your email!
