Sporting Classics Magazine Honors Long Grass' Contribution to the Shooting Lifestyle with a Award of Exellence.
April 2008 — Long Grass has been awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence in the Sporting Lifestyle for 2007 from the editors and writers of Sporting Classics magazine. The annual awards, to those who contributed most to the quality of the sportsman’s outdoor experience, appear in the publication’s April 2008 issue.

Sporting Classics Publisher and Editor Chuck Wechsler presented Jerry & Melody Rutkowski of Long Grass Outfitters LLC with an engraved crystal signifying the honor.

In honoring Long Grass LLC, Sporting Classic April 2008 issue states:
